In place of our textbook adoption plan for the 2012-13 school year, the Portage Township schools district obtained a class set of iPads for all grade level art teachers k-8. Along with the class set of iPads, teachers received a voucher to purchase apps for the iPads and professional development training from Apple on curriculum and deployment of the iPad Cows.
This is a very exciting time for the Portage k-8 art programs.
Below is a list of some of the apps we use in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade art classes, some of the apps are free and some we paid for.
